Write a letter of gratitude to someone special in your life. Share how and why you are thankful for this person. In what way did this person help you out during a low point?
When we think beyond our own wants and needs, our consciousness expands to a new realm. We are more likely to shift our perspective to one of complete gratitude for this miraculous world.
2. Act of Kindness
Being kind to others boosts the mood of both parties involved. It feels good to be nice!
Next time you’re in a line to purchase coffee, offer to buy someone else’s order. Help your grandma pull up weeds from her garden. Drive your sibling home from work. Listen to your friend talk about a bad day at school.
There are so many ways to perform a random act of kindness. Being compassionate and helpful will cause you to swell with joy.

Contemplate your strengths and then write them down. If you aren’t sure, take a quiz online. Are you particularly creative? Are you good at soccer? Do people compliment you on your artistic skills? Maybe you’re really good at math!
Whatever your strength might be, write it down. Write about a recent time when you executed this strength. This will boost your self-esteem and put a smile on your face!
